Our medical couriers also receive specialized education about transporting medical specimens. RDS partners with Integrity Medical Courier Training to offer classes about maintaining the integrity of the specimens, bloodborne pathogen awareness, complying with Occupational and Safety Health Administration (OSHA) and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) laws, policies and procedures about what to do if exposed to medical specimens and how to use a spill kit in the event of an accident.
